Mahesh Babu has rejected an exciting story from a reputed director. The director has come up with a story in the genre of historical. But the superstar has turned down on the grounds that it is too risky as only able directors like Rajamouli can handle such massive projects. Other filmmakers will bow down to the pressure during the making, he feels.

Mahesh Babu has been receiving various interesting proposals but he has not given nod to anyone yet. At present, he is busy wrapping up the final leg of the work of ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ that is scheduled for Sankranthi release.

Mahesh Babu recently heard a storyline from ‘KGF’ director Prasanth Neel as well from ‘Maharshi’ director Vamshi Paidipally. He may take one of these movies to the sets early next year. Mahesh Babu will start beginning the promotions of ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ next month.
