Mahesh25: Ashwini Dutt vs Dil Raju?

A lot has been changed after the release of ‘Mahanati’ and this is also going to affect Mahesh Babu’s 25th movie. When Mahesh Babu’s 25th film was formally launched last year, it was on Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateshwara Banner and Ashwini Dutt’s name was announced as presenter. Now, Ashwini Dutt wants either to take over the film or wants to be the co-producer. Dutt’s daughters want to take the production reins as they are confident after the massive success of ‘Mahanati’.
 
One should go to flashback to understand this predicament. Mahesh Babu has given his dates to senior producer Ashwini Dutt who produced Mahesh’s maiden movie as hero. Since Ashwini Dutt is going through bad phase and people have lost confidence on his banner as it delivered many flops, Mahesh Babu called Dil Raju to produce the film and give share in profits to Dutt. To this Dutt also agreed.
 
Dil Raju began pre-production from last year itself. Post-Mahanati, Dutt’s daughters are said to have felt their banner has gained popularity again and they can produce it themselves instead of being a presenter.
 
The film that was to go to the sets today has now been pushed to next week. Mahesh Babu has to settle the issue between these producers. The film is to be directed by Vamshi Paidipally and has Pooja Hegde as the female lead.
 
Mahesh Babu grew beard and changed his hairstyle to look different for the film. It has to be seen whether Dil Raju will retain the producer’s name.
