Malavika Mohanan opposite Rajinikanth

Rajinikanth has been pairing up with senior actresses of late. It was recently reported that Simran has been cast opposite Rajinikanth in his current film being directed by Karthik Subbaraju however latest reports say Simran is not his heroine in the film.

It is upcoming actress Malavika Mohanan, daughter of famous cinematographer K V Mohanan (who is currently filming Mahesh Babu's 'Maharshi'), that has been chosen as Rajnikanth's jodi.

Sun Pictures is producing the film and Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music.
