Kalyaan Dhev, the husband of Srija, debuted last year with 'Vijetha', which didn’t do well at the box-office. Now, he is doing 'Super Machi' with a debutant director.

The news is that the film has been saved from being dead by none other than Megastar Chiranjeevi. Producer Rizwan of Rizwan Entertainment was on the verge of shelving the project, hit as he was by a financial crunch. This is when Chiru stepped in and offered help. The exact modalities of this help are not known but the project has been resurrected. But for the 'Sye Raa' actor, it would have been dead by now.

The film stands revived. It will be a 2020 release. Rachita Ram, a star actress in Kannada, is one of the heroines. Puli Vasu is directing ‘Super Machi’.
