MeToo: Your voice will be heard, says Samantha

MeToo movement is finally taking strong attention. Many powerful men who indulged in sexual harassment are losing their jobs after brave women narrating their stories, how they had gone through trauma. In Bollywood, several actors and directors were named. With many women coming forward with their own stories of harassment in all fields in India, the Tollywood industry is now taking up steps to make the place better.

Samantha and some other actresses have now taken initiative to give support or platform to women who may have similar stories to tell here. Samantha and their group will now guide all the women working in Tollywood how to register their complaints if anyone tries to harass them sexually at workplace. VOW (Voice of Women) was formed.

"Speak up against sexual harassment Your voice will be heard even if it is anonymous Complain to - [email protected], [email protected],” Samantha tweeted asking women in Tollywood to register their complaints if any.

Tollywood has already taken many measures to make the workplaces are safe for women in all offices and studios. These measures were taken after the Sri Reddy allegations few months ago.
