Mohanlal announces Drishyam 2

‘Drishyam’ is a trendsetter in Indian cinema. The Malayalam movie starring Mohanlal was remade in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada languages successfully. The Telugu version had Venkatesh in the lead role.

Seven years later, Mohanlal announces a sequel to it. Titled ‘Drishyam 2’, the movie will shortly begin its shoot. On the eve of Mohanlal’s birthday today, a short clip from this sequel was unveiled. We may see a similar sequel in Telugu as well. Mohanlal starrer other Malayalam blockbuster ‘Lucifer’ is also going to be remade in Telugu with Chiranjeevi in the lead role.

Mohanlal had played key roles in two Telugu films  - NTR starrer ‘Janatha Garage’ and Yelet’s ‘Manamantha’.
