All top stars of Tollywood have decided not to resume the shootings until the coronavirus outbreak completely settles down. Although the industry showed keen interest to resume the movie shootings last month and sought permission from the government, they had dropped their plans after witnessing a huge surge of corona cases in Hyderabad.

From the past one week, the capital city of Telangana is seeing more than 1000 cases in the city limits alone. The state has not yet reached the peak stage forcing all the filmmakers to postpone their shootings to September or October.

This has invariably affected the production of Prabhas’s two movies. ‘Radhe Shyam’ that is directed by Radhakrishna will continue shooting the remaining portion until summer 2021. So, Prabhas’s sci-fi drama in the direction of Nag Ashwin of ‘Mahanati’ fame, which was supposed to go on the floors soon will be pushed to the next monsoon.

The makers wanted to erect lavish sets next month. But now, they will have to postpone to the next year. The sci-fi drama will be released in 2023.
