Naga Chaitanya working on Telangana accent

Naga Chaitanya will be seen in an interesting role in his film with Sekhar Kammula. He plays a villager who moves to a city to better his life. Set in Telangana, the film has the Akkineni actor speak in the T slang.

Now, mouthing dialogues in the slang is not a joke. If something goes wrong, people will not only troll the actor but also see him in comparison with Vijay Deverakonda, who hails from Telangana.

So, to make sure that everything is right, Chay is learning the accent from Kammula himself.  Naga Chaitanya was born and brought up in Chennai and has always spoken Andhra Telugu at home.  So, it's not that easy for him to learn the accent. With Kammula, who knows the accent in and out, things are assured.

Also, Sai Pallavi is helping Chay out in this regard. After all, she had done it in 'Fidaa'. For 'Fidaa', it was Kammula, again, who helped her get the slang right during the dubbing stage.
