Nandi Awards 2012: Eega gets Best film

Nandi Awards for year 2012 and 2013 were announced by Government of AP. Jayasudha who headed the jury for year 2012 announced the awards today at Vijayawada.

Rajamouli directed 'Eega' won major awards including Best Film, Best Director, Best Music Director (Sharing), Best Cinematography, Best VFX, etc. Second Best film award went to 'Minugurulu' and third Best film to 'Mithunam'. Trivikram directed 'Julayi' won the Best popular film award.

Both Nani and Samantha the lead pair of 'Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu' won the Best actor and Best actress awards respectively. Best Music director was given to both music maestros - Keeravani (Eega) and Ilayaraja (YVM)
