Nandi Awards 2013: Prabhas wins Best Actor

For year 2013, Nandi Awards were announced. While for the year 2012, 'Eega' and 'YVM' dominated, the 2013 awards were mixed bag and also seem politically motivated. Mirchi was adjudged as Best Film while, Prabhas won the Best Actor award for the same film.
Best Director award went to Daya Kodavaganti for 'Alias Janaki'. Devi Sri Prasad won for music and Trivikram for dialogue writing for 'Attharintiki Daaredi'.
Prakash Raj adjudged as Best Supporting actor for SVSC, Comedian Tagubothu Ramesh as best comedian for Venkatadri Express.
