'Virataparvam' has been making a lot of buzzes ever since its launch. Touted to be Rana’s most-intense romantic action drama, the film boasts some interesting casting members such as renowned actress Nandita Das. The national award-winning actress is playing a key role in this film that is set in the backdrop of the 90’s Naxal infested Telangana region. 

Nandita has already completed a major shoot schedule earlier but has now joined the sets again after Rana has commenced the shoot. Currently, the shoot is progressing under the direction of Venu Udugula and cinematographer Dani Sanchez-Lopez of ‘Mahanati’ fame.

Sai Pallavi is the heroine of this period drama.
