Nani checkmates King Nag

Nagarjuna is planning to release his ‘Manmadhudu 2’ towards end of August coinciding his birthday. While he’s still in contemplation, Nani went ahead and made his producers to announce the release date of ‘Gangleader’ as August 30.

Nagarjuna was not expecting this from Nani. Now, he cannot compete with Nani’s ‘Gangleader’ as there are no holidays during that period. Two films competing on the same date would spoil the opening numbers. So, Nagarjuna will have to search for another date.

‘Manamadhudu 2’ is being directed by Rahul Ravindran and it stars Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead. Last year, Nani and Nag had acted together in ‘Devdas’, which was an average grosser.
