‘Shyam Singha Roy’ was announced with much hype on the occasion of Nani’s birthday (Feb 24). The release date was also announced on the same day. But corona has spoiled plans of all filmmakers. The film has now been pushed to next year. 

Forget about the release, the shooting may only begin towards the end of the year. Nani needs to complete his other film ‘Tuck Jagadish’ first. The film’s shooting will continue till October. Then he will have to commence ‘Shyam Singha Roy’. 2021 summer is the best option for this movie’s release.

‘Taxiwaala’ director Rahul Sankrityan is helming this film. Sai Pallavi is being considered as the heroine. Sithara Entertainments will produce it. Nani will be seen in two different roles and the film will have Kolkota as its main backdrop.
