Naresh: None informed me about Chiranjeevi meeting

VK Naresh, the president of Movie Artistes’ Association, today clarified that he was not informed about the meetings that took place under Megastar Chiranjeevi’s guidance about the resumption of movie shootings post lockdown. Since no one informed him about the meetings, then questioning him about not sending invitations to other stars in the capacity of MAA president holds no value.

He said neither he nor the general secretary of MAA was aware of the meetings that took place at Chiranjeevi with Talasani. Thus he countered the comments made by C Kalyan.

Reacting to Balakrishna’s comments that the industry had ignored him, C Kalyan said it was MAA president’s responsibility to call upon all the actors.

Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna were the only two major stars who had participated in meetings held by Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Telangana Minister for Cinematography. Though several prominent directors and producers had also participated in the meeting with Chief Minister KCR, Balakrishna was not seen at those meetings. Yesterday, Balakrishna angrily reacted to this snubbing by Chiranjeevi and others.
