New Plan: Only 50% seats to be sold in Theaters

Although lockdown might come to an end on April 30, theaters will not be allowed to screen movies until the second week of May. But producers and distributors have already made with various plans to attract the audiences in the post-corona scenario. For a month, only 50% of tickets in each theater will be sold, and two or three seats will be left vacant to maintain a meter gap between the patrons.

Plus, ticket rates will be reduced in the first two months. Once things will become normal, the old system will be revived. These are the decisions that Tollywood biggies are thinking about to implement as soon as the lockdown is eased.

Small-budgeted movies will hit the screens first.

Films that are waiting to hit the screens this summer are ‘Orey Bujjigaa’, ‘Uppena’, ‘Nishabdham’, ‘Red’, ‘V’, ‘Sreekaram’, ‘Solo Brathuke So Better’, etc.
