Nishabdam OTT deal is in the final stage!

The streaming giant Amazon Prime video’s announcement of bagging the rights of seven Indian films including Amitabh's 'Gulabo Sitabo' has created a sensation of sorts.

Producers selecting an OTT platform for public consumption of their movies bypassing the traditional theatrical release is a path-breaking moment. Now that Bollywood, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada producers had taken a bold step, the Telugu industry is also gearing up for closing the deals.

If everything falls in place, Anushka starrer ‘Nishabdham’ might become the first such Telugu biggie to stream on OTT platforms bypassing the theatrical window. Our sources inform that the producers of ‘Nishabdham’ have been holding discussions with streaming giants. Currently, a big company has taken the discussion to the final stage. 

They may close the deal soon.

Anushka Shetty has played the role of a mute artist in this thriller directed by Hemanth Madhukar. People Media Factory has produced this film in association with Kona Venkat. Madhavan has acted as Anushka Shetty’s husband while Shalini Panday and Anjali are also part of the main cast.
