Nivetha Pethuraj mostly played demure roles. She either looked traditional or as a girl-next-door in films like ‘Mental Madhilo’, ‘Brochevarevarura’ and ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramlo’. She is currently acting as Ram’s female Jodi in the upcoming release ‘Red’.

In ‘Red’, she plays the role of a lady cop. We won’t see her in a glamorous avatar.
