No second heroine in Allu Arjun's Pushpa

That Nivetha Thomas has been roped in to play the second female lead in Sukumar’s recently launched action thriller ‘Pushpa’ has widely been reported. ‘Pushpa’ that features Allu Arjun in the lead role has been hitting the headlines of late. But sources close to the director and production house have informed us there is no scope for the second heroine in the movie.

“According to the story, Allu Arjun’s character is in love with one girl which is being played by Rashmika. She is the sole female lead in Pushpa and no other heroine has been cast for the second lead,” the source adds.

Rashmika Mandanna will be joining the sets once the film begins regular shoot after government permits movie shootings. ‘Pushpa’ is a multi-lingual action drama with Allu Arjun playing the role of a transporter in the Seshachalam forest range, which forms the backdrop for the story.
