Openings are key for Vijay Deverakonda

Vijay Deverakonda was seen in four films this year – ‘Mahanati’ (minor role), ‘Geetha Govindam’, ‘NOTA’, ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’ (guest appearance). He is releasing his fifth movie this weekend. We are talking about ‘Taxiwaala’ that is hitting the screens on 17 November.

Entire footage of ‘Taxiwaala’ is available on torrent sites now. Despite piracy problem and over-exposure this year, he is still attracting the youth and creating lot of buzz. Good expectations are placed on this movie. The film needs just strong opening weekend collections to reach the break-even stage.

The film was made on a modest budget and it was sold for reasonable prices as well. If Vijay Deverakonda brings good openings, then the producers and distributors would be safe. If it runs for a week in theaters with strong collections, then the producers will be in huge profits. He has to show his muscle at box-office in the opening weekend.
