‘Palasa 1978’ is a period drama set in the backdrop of the Uttarandhra region starring mostly newcomers in the lead roles. The film opened to good reviews on March 6, 2020, but didn’t gain much revenue at the ticket window. It is now garnering great appreciation from people who have watched the movie on Amazon Prime Video. The film is now streaming. 

Directed by newcomer Karuna Kumar, the film is a drama about two Dalit youths.
