Police remake with Ravi Teja not happening?

It happens only in Tollywood. Some makers think audiences are idiots. Vijay’s ‘Theri’ was released in Telugu as ‘Police’ by none other than producer Dil Raju. The film didn’t strike a chord with Telugu audiences. Despite the fact that the film was released already, Mythri Movie Makers bought the movie’s remake rights in the hope to remake it with Pawan Kalyan.
 
Powerstar Pawan Kalyan took wise decision of not doing this and he moved on to politics. Just not to waste the money bought for remake rights, the same production house recently launched a movie with Ravi Teja in the direction of Santosh Srinivas whose last two movies – ‘Rabhasa’ and ‘Hyper’ were duds.
 
After filming this ‘Police’ movie with Ravi Teja for a week, it has now been scrapped. It is not clear whether it would be revived or not but for the time-being the shoot has been put on hold.
