Poll results to decide Bharateeyudu 2's fate

Kamal Haasan’s ‘Bharateeyudu 2’ has been stalled. While the rumors say the film has completely been dropped off due to budget issues, Kamal Haasan has shot down the reports. He said the film is very much on.
On other hand, sources have informed us that the film’s fate will be decided by Lok Sabha election results. Kamal Haasan’s party MNM has fielded its candidates in Tamilnadu in Lok Sabha polls. Kamal Haasan is not contesting but he is aggressively campaigning. This is litmus test for his party.
If his party performs well in its debut polls, ‘Bharateeyudu 2’ will get boost as interest on the film would be doubled and production house would dare invest in. If he scores blank, then the production house will not take the film forward.
Shankar is directing ‘Bharateeyudu 2’ aka ‘Indian 2’ in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages.
