Prabhas to face competition from Akshay Kumar

In a sudden twist, Akshay Kumar has officially announced the release date of his next release ‘Mission Mangal’. Till the other day, Bollywood trade was betting high on Prabhas’s ‘Saaho’ as there is no competition. But now, Akshay released the poster of ‘Mission Mangal’ announcing August 15 as its release date. The film features Nithya Menen, Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannnu, Kirti Kulhari and Sharman Joshi. The film is a story of underdogs who took India to Mars.
 
Now, direct fight will be between ‘Saaho’ and ‘Mission Mangal’.
 
Prabhas is more focused on the Hindi version of ‘Saaho’ as he wants to strengthen his North India market. ‘Baahubali’ movies have made him a huge star in Hindi belt and he has big plans to strengthen this area. Though ‘Saaho’ still has edge over Akshay Kumar, but ‘Mission Mangal’ will surely put a dent in ‘Saaho’ collections on the opening day.
 
‘Mission Mangal’ has not yet begun promotions. ‘Saaho’ is now intensifying its promotions in all languages.
