Rains affecting Valmiki collections

The incessant rains in Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana have affected the collections of Valmiki aka Gaddhalakonda Ganesh adversely. The film that was running successfully had seen a huge drop on Wednesday. From the past two days, Hyderabad is witnessing no respite from rains and people are not stepping out in the rains to watch the movies. So, the collections in Nizam have dropped.
Even in some parts of Andhra Pradesh, the showers are disrupting the collections. The film needs to pick up its collections again this weekend to reach the breakeven stage. The film has so fare collected Rs 16.9 Cr in AP and TS.
Starring Varun Tej and Pooja Hegde, ‘Gaddhalkonda Ganesh’ is directed by Harish Shankar. The film had an impressive run for the first five days.
