Superstar Rajinikanth said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is charismatic leader. He praised that Modi single-handedly brought BJP back in power. The Modi wave is seen across India but not in Tamilnadu. "People voted for Modi the person. I will be attending the swearing-in ceremony," Rajinikanth said.

Superstar Rajinikanth is very close to Modi. He also said Congress President Rahul Gandhi should not step down. "Rahul is capable leader but he should fight and prove his calibre," Rajinikanth has this advice for Rahul.

Rajinikanth will be testing his luck in political arena in the next two years. He has launched a party but he will contest in Tamilnadu assembly polls only. Till then he will be working in films.

Rajinikanth is currently shooting for A R Murugadoss's 'Darbar'. Kamal Haasan recently saw routing in polls and he has not much future as politician but Rajinikanth hopes to set new trend in Tamilnadu.
