Rajinikanth's fans come out to streets

Superstar Rajinikanth's fans took to the streets of Chennai to condemn a fringe a group that is opposing Rajinikanth's entry into Tamilnadu politics. A group called Tamizhar Munnetra Padai had burnt Rajinikanth's effigy on Monday. The Tamil group and a section of political establishment are opposing Rajinikanth's entry into Tamilnadu politics saying he is not Tamilian. They say he is Kannadiga and has no room in Tamil politics.
Even BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said Rajinikanth doesn't have knowledge. "He doesn't know constitution. It is better he should stick to movies and entertain people," Swamy said.
The superstar didn't say that he would join politics immediately. He only said that endemic corruption is a problem in the state. He had also added that he is "a pure Tamil" and that he has been in Tamil Nadu for more than 40 years.
