Rajini's charisma fails to excite audience?

This phenomenon is unexplainable. Rajinikanth's film were once a rage. The first day of the film's release would be like festival. But things seem to be changing. 

It was a no-show for the Hindi version of Kaala. The response to the film was extremely feeble. So far the collections of the film has been a mere Rs 6 Crore. This is bad when compared to Rajini starrer Kabaali, which also met with a lukewarm response.

From the way things are standing now for Kaala there seem to be no respite. If things continue this way the film won't be staying here for long.
