Rakul to essay Karanam Malleswari's role?

Rakul Preet Singh is set to act in a biopic. The actress is a fitness freak. She regularly posts pictures of lifting weights. Perhaps, this has inspired the makers of Karanam Malleswari to approach her. Weightlifter Karanam Malleswari is the first Indian woman to win an Olympic medal.

Rakul Preet Singh reportedly gave a nod to this though there is no official confirmation. To be directed by Sanjana Reddy, the biopic will be produced by MVV Satyanarayana and Kona Venkat.

Rakul Preet Singh is currently acting opposite Nithin in Yeleti’s ‘Check’. She has been struggling to gain new offers in Tollywood after her recent films tanked at the box-office. The actress has lost all the craze and popularity.
