Wednesday, December 20, 2017 - 16:45

Ram Charan is a city slicker. Born in Chennai and raised in Hyderabad, Charan hardly knows about rural life. His knowledge about old and folk art forms is almost zero. However, he is enjoying the filming process of Sukumar's 'Rangasthalam' as he is able to learn and know various things about Andhra rural life and its folk art forms.

Sukumar has incorporated a lot of folk art forms in this film as it is a love story set in rural village on the banks of Godavari delta in Andhra Pradesh during the period of 1985.

Sukumar is now filming a song on Charan with the dancers of Thappeta Gullu. Later Charan posted this: "Another day on Rangasthalam sets and have had pleasure of knowing another folk art form! Met these Thappeta Gullu dancers."

The film is set for March 30, 2018 release. It has Samantha as heroine and music is by Devi Sri Prasad.
