Thursday, March 26, 2020 - 12:15

Ram Charan has rejoined Twitter today. A day before his birthday, he is back on Twitter. He quit this social media platform in 2012 and has been using Facebook to connect with fans since then. However, he has now logged into Twitter following his father Megastar Chiranjeevi who joined the Twitter world on the Ugadi festival.

As his first tweet in his comeback, Ram Charan announced a donation of Rs 70 lakhs to PM Relief Fund, Andhra Pradesh CM Relief Fund and Telangana CM Relief Fund. He said he was inspired by his uncle Pawan Kalyan’s gesture who announced a donation of Rs 2 crore.

“Inspired by Pawan Kalyan Garu's tweet, I would like to contribute 70 lakh towards the Centre and States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Relief Fund in this moment of crisis. I would like to applaud the commendable efforts of our Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji & Honourable Chief Ministers of our respective states, KCR Garu and Jagan Mohan Reddy Garu in curtailing the vast effects of the pandemic COVID 19. As a responsible citizen, I encourage all to strictly abide by their rules & recommendations. Jai Hind,” Ram Charan posted on Twitter.
