Ram defends his controversial tweet

Young actor Ram has landed in a controversy when he tweeted about Inter results fiasco in Telangana using an obscene word. He tried to instill confidence among the students in the wake of reports of student attempting suicides over marks. His intention was right but he used a swear word in his outrage on Twitter.

About 16 students ended their lives as they got low marks in plus 2. Failure of the system as well as Telangana government’s apathy that drove students took such a drastic step. Government’s lackadaisical approach was also pulled up by Telangana High Court. Social media is outraging against the government.

Celebrities in their own way are trying to impart positive attitude in the students saying marks alone won’t decide their future. In similar fashion, Ram who is currently shooting for Puri Jagannadh’s ‘iSmart Shankar’, also advised students to not to worry too much about marks. However, he used a word that is too vulgar.

After outcry against his usage of “boothu” word, Ram had defended it saying that he wanted to drive the message in a strong manner.
