After scoring a huge blockbuster with ‘iSmart Shankar’, Ram Pothineni is being chased by top production houses and filmmakers. But he is taking things slow. He’s not in a hurry to announce his next film as his current film ‘RED’ needs to have a theatrical release. ‘RED’ was scheduled for April 9 release but it got postponed indefinitely due to lockdown period. 

He will decide his next film after the release of ‘RED’. Meanwhile, there were rumors that he has already given nod to director Maruthi. But the director himself has clarified that it is not true. 

Maruthi who also scored a huge hit with ‘Prati Roju Pandaage’ said he’s still writing the script.
