Ramya Krishna bets high on Puri - VD film

Senior actress Ramya Krishna’s career took a new turn with Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ in which she played the queen. The role of Sivagami perfectly suited for her persona and her fiery performance struck a chord with all the audiences of all age groups and across all regions in India. 

Ramya Krishna claims that the film that she’s playing right now has the potential to become another ‘Baahubali’. Ramya Krishna is playing mother to Vijay Deverakonda in the sports drama directed by Puri Jagannadh. Planned as a Pan-India project, the movie completed a major portion recently but its shoot has been stalled due to the coronavirus.

In an interview, Ramya Krishna said this film, which also deals with the mother-son sentiment, might turn into a huge blockbuster in all languages. She sounded so confident about this film’s success.

‘Fighter’ is the working title of this movie but sources say ‘Liger’ has been registered as the title for it. Ananya Panday is making debut as the heroine in Telugu.
