Rangasthalam underperforms on TV

Sukumar directed Ram Charan starrer 'Rangasthalam' set records in theatres when it got released this summer. The film eventually became all-time third highest grossing Telugu movie worldwide. The revenge drama hit the Amazon Prime within 45 days and even then its theatrical run continued with superb collections. Such monster hit it was.

And finally the film premiered on Star Maa TV recently but the film has failed to set any records in terms of viewership. It got  19.5 TVR points. Compared to NTR's 'Janatha Garage', its rating was a bit low. Fidaa, DJ, Srimanthdu and Baahubali movies have got bigger ratings compared to 'Rangasthalam'.

'Rangasthalam' has terrific soundtrack by Devi Sri Prasad. All its songs are very popular. Samantha starred in the film as Ramalakshmi, Ram Charan's lover.
