Rashmika calls off engagement!

There have been rumors that Rashmika called off her engagement with Kannada star and director Rakshit Shetty. Even as reports went overdrive a month ago, she kept mum. Now, it seems official. According to a newspaper, Rashmika’s close friends have confirmed that she broke off with Rakshit due to compatibility issue with him.

As per the newspaper, Rashmika made this decision after getting nod from her parents. She starred in ‘Kirik Party’ in Kannada that featured Rakshit Shetty and later she got engaged to him. However, she became popular in Tollywood with string of hits like ‘Chalo’ and ‘Geetha Govindam’ and differences reportedly have cropped up between them.

Her upcoming release is ‘Devadas’, that is slated for this month end. She is now one of the most sought after actresses in Tollywood.
