Mahesh Babu’s new film that is tentatively referred as SSMB26 will start rolling next month. We have reported earlier that Rashmika Mandanna is the top contender for the female lead. However, several other names also did the rounds.

Finally, director Anil Ravipudi has signed her. Rashmika’s name will be announced as main heroine shortly. This is first big star movie in her career.

Rashmika who shot to fame in Tollywood with ‘Chalo’ is now busy actress. It is Vijay Deverakonda starrer ‘Geetha Govindam’ that made her a star and she will next be seen in ‘Dear Comrade’. Rashmika has also signed a film opposite Nithin in ‘Bheeshma’ and a Karthi movie in Kollywood.
