Ravi Teja finally broke silence about his brother Bharath's death and he spoke about why did he not attended the funeral. He rubbished the media reports that he abandoned his brother. He asked the media not to spread malicious reports about their family.

On Wednesday (July 5th), he spoke to the media after attending 'Dasa Dina Karma' of deceased Bharath. He explained that he, his mother and other family members were in shock after the news and they didn't have the heart to see his brother's grinded face in the road accident. "We lacked strength to see his face at funerals. So, we didn't attend but we were grieving. Bharath is dear to me," Ravi Teja explained.

It must be recalled that Ravi Teja's brother Bharath who was also an actor died in a road accident in Hyderabad ten days ago. No member from Ravi Teja's family came to see the dead body, nor did they attended the funeral.

Media reports said that a junior artiste performed the funerals. It was also reported that Ravi Teja was spotted shooting for his movie the very next day of his brother's death. This has maligned Ravi Teja. People have been slamming Ravi Teja for his behaviour.

He gave an unconvincing reply when media asked whether he attended the movie shoot the next day. Ravi Teja said he went to the sets two days later and reasoned that he couldn't afford to miss the shoot, as there were many actors involved in the scenes. When media men have tried to pose more questions, he evaded them and left the spot.
