Ravi Teja's film titled Kanakadurga!

Ravi Teja has given go-ahead to director Santosh Srinivas. The director of ‘Kandireega’, ‘Rabhasa’ and ‘Hyper’ has been waiting to remake Tamil movie ‘Theri’ in Telugu from the last three and half years and he has finally got nod from Ravi Teja now.

Buzz in the industry is that this remake of ‘Theri’ has been christened ‘Kanakadurga’. Ravi Teja will play the role of a strict police officer. The film’s shoot will begin shortly. Mythri Movie Makers is producing it.

Ravi Teja recently commenced shooting for Vi Anand’s new-age thriller ‘Disco Raja’. He will be working for both ‘Disco Raja’ and ‘Kanakadurga’ this year back-to-back.
