Reason behind KGF's success in Telugu

No one in Telugu land aware about Kannada star Yash’s name before the release of trailer of ‘KGF’. From the very first trailer, the film had generated interest. There is something about this film, people thought.

Even though it didn’t get the similar hype and buzz like other Telugu movies last weekend, the film eventually has emerged as winner. It has now been declared a hit. The initial hype around ‘Padi Padi Leche Manasu’ and ‘Antariksham’ petered out after the first day. Collections of the movies have started declining from day two. On the other hand, ‘KGF’ has started picking up from the day two and now it is heading towards good hit.

As all critics pointed out rightly, the film doesn’t boast anything novel but it is mounted technically superb. The hyperbole action, the heroism elevating sequences and the rich production values have given paisa vasool time for the audiences. The other main reason is this is typical “mass masala” movie that Tollywood used to churn out regularly. Director Neel has refined this genre with his technical finesse and class. No wonder then that Telugu people have started liking it.

Now, Yash has created a market for him in Telugu states.
