The postponement of ‘RRR’ from July 30 to Sankranthi 2021 has made all other big movies to reconsider their release plans. Allu Arjun who scored a massive blockbuster with ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ wanted to release his new movie being directed by Sukumar for Sankranthi 2021 for the sentiment reasons. But now the movie cannot compete with ‘RRR’.

What would be the best date for Sukumar and Allu Arjun’s film? 

One option is to release this year either for Dussera or in December. The other choice is to lock a date during summer 2021. But the production cost will escalate if the movie is pushed to next year's summer holidays. Sukumar and his team have been working on this film for the last four months. 

Allu Arjun will take a final call on the release date before he joins the shoot of the movie. If it gets postponed to summer 2021, he will join the shooting in March or April. 

The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and stars Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine. It has music by Devi Sri Prasad. The revenge drama is set in the backdrop of the Seshachalam forest range where red sanders smuggling is a huge menace.
