Saaho Telugu satellite rights remain unsold

The producers of ‘Saaho’ had seen some amazing deals from the movie’s non-theatrical revenue. They had sold the movie’s non-Hindi digital streaming rights for Rs 40 Cr. The Hindi digital rights said to have fetched them another Rs 18 Cr. The satellite rights of Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam have also brought them huge money. They are getting more than Rs 100 Cr from this non-theatrical revenue which directly goes to their accounts as profits on the project. 
 
How it performs in the theaters is a matter to be observed.
 
Despite such massive non-theatrical deals, the makers have failed to convince the Telugu satellite channels. The Telugu satellite rights will only be bought by the channels after seeing the result of the movie as the producers are quoting exorbitant prices. 

At a time, the channels are buying satellite rights and digital streaming rights together for every movie, the makers of ‘Saaho’ are not giving them on a bouquet. As Telugu digital streaming rights were already bought by Amazon, the Telugu channels are not ready to pay the huge amount for satellite rights.
 
The deal will only be closed after the release of the movie.
