Sai Madhav Burra: Sankranthi competition is not one-sided

Sai Madhav Burra shot to fame with his dialogue writing for 'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurumu' and 'Kanche'. Now he has penned the dialogues for Nandamuri Balakrishna's 100th movie 'Gautamiputra Satakarni'.
Ask him whether he was confident of getting Balakrishna's approval at the outset, he says, "It was in Morocco that I first met him. When I presented the dialogue version to him, he read them and said they are fine. Until that time, I was tensed. Great people have written dialogues for many of his movies."
Burra views Balayya as an actor born to essay the role of Satakarni."Even if the real Satakarni were to come in front of our eyes, we would say that Satakarni is actually Balakrishna. When the script was ready (Krish had been mooting the since 'Krishnam Vande Jagatgurum'), I told the director that only Balakrishna garu could do the role. To my surprise, Krish had already discussed the project with the hero," Burra recounts.
He also involved in screenplay of Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Khaidi No 150'."This season, it will be a victory for both 'GPSK' and 'Khaidi No. 150'. I am lucky to have got the opportunity to be associated with the milestone movies of my favourite heroes. This time competition won't be one-sided," Burra signs off.
