Varun Tej’s ‘Tholi Prema’s is good and enjoyable romantic drama. The film had good first week run too. However, it is clear that it will be getting only half of the worldwide share of Varun Tej’s previous hit ‘Fidaa’ had collected. ‘Fidaa’ was sensational blockbuster that nearly collected Rs 50 Cr. 'Tholi Prema' has collected Rs 20 Cr share worldwide by end of second weekend.
 
Though ‘Fidaa’ has emotion that connects to the larger audiences and Sekhar Kammula’s brand of direction, the film’s major success is attributed to Sai Pallavi. The actress won the hearts of the audiences and her popularity took the film to the next level at ticket window. Trade analysts say “Tholi Prema” missed this – “Sai Pallavi” factor.
 
Sai Pallavi’s popularity played key role in the huge success of Nani’s previous movie ‘MCA’. The film was clichéd and predictable movie but it went on to become Nani’s best hit. Apart from Nani’s winning streak and charisma, it was Sai Pallavi factor that played main role in its huge success, say trade analysts.
 
Question is: will she bring good openings to her next movie ‘Kanam’? That has to be seen before pronouncing the judgment further.
