We have earlier reported that Samantha will play a role in her father-in-law’s ‘Manmadhudu 2’. This is romantic entertainer starring Nagarjuna and Rakul Preet Singh. Samantha will appear in an undisclosed character but it is more like an extended guest role.

Since the film’s director Rahul Ravindran is her best friend, Samantha has agreed to act in an important role. Samantha who is basking in the success of ‘Majili’ says she will sign films that are different from routine.

Samantha will next be seen in Nandini Reddy’s ‘O Baby’.
