Samantha has joined team of 'Manmadhudu 2' in Portugal. She appears in a cameo character in this film that stars her father-in-law Akkineni Nagarjuna as the lead actor. Since it is her father-in-law's movie and also the fact that it is being directed by her best friend Rahul Ravindran, she has agreed to do a minor role.

'Manmadhudu 2' is currently being shot in Portugal. Rao Ramesh, Vennela Kishore and other actors are too participating in the shoot. Rakul Preet Singh is the heroine.

Samantha has not signed any other movie after the release of 'Majili' yet.
