The massive collections of ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ and ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ have made the industry to notice the potential of this festive period. Now, every big star is eyeing the Sankranthi season. The production house that has produced ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ is all set to ready two movies for the next Pongal season.

The production house will produce NTR - Trivikram’s new film which is expected to hit the floors in April this year and it may hit the screens on Sankranthi 2021. The same banner is all set to launch a film with Nani in the direction of Rahul Sankritiyan of ‘Taxiwaala’ fame. If it gets completed quickly, it will be placed during Sankranthi 2021 period.

Similarly, Pawan Kalyan - Krish’s film is also being planned for Sankranthi 2021. This period drama will be launched towards the end of this month. There is also talk of Mahesh Babu - Paidipally movie and Balakrishna’s next eying the same season. But it remains to be seen how many films finally make it to the competition.
