Sarkar's plagiarism row: Murugadoss compromises

All hurdles for Vijay starrer 'Sarkar' have been cleared. A writer Varun Rajendran approached court saying that director Murugadoss has copied his story. Initially, Murugadoss had denied the charges and even all Kollywood celebrities have stood behind him in this row. They said he writes stories on his own.
As the case came to hearing today, Sun Pictures and Murugadoss have opted to settle the issue with the writer out of court to pave way for release of the movie without any hurdles. Now they have agreed to give Varun Rajendran credit as story writer as well as huge sum of money will be given him.
In other words, Murugadoss indirectly has agreed that he copied the story. This is not the first time that the director landing in plagiarism row.
'Sarkar' is also releasing in Telugu in big way on 6 November.
