There have been reports that Shruti Haasan has finally signed a Telugu film after a long gap. It is said that she has signed Nani's new movie 'Jersey' that was recently announced. However, sources close to Shruti informed us that this is "not true".

She hasn't signed it. Shruti has been waiting to bag a movie in Telugu. Her last release in Telugu was 'Katamarayudu' (2017). Since then she is waiting for a right movie to bounce back.

Since Shruti has acted in 'Premam' that was produced by Sithara Entertainments banner, people assumed that she'd immediately say yes to this 'Jersey' that is being produced by the same producer. However, Shruti hints she didn't give her nod yet.
