The Simpsons' creator praises Rajamouli

Matt Groening, the creator of 'The Simpsons', a popular TV show in USA, has created new animated series called Disenchantment. For this, he is said to have taken inspiration from some of our Tollywood's top director S S Rajamouli's movies.

The Simpsons' creator has praised Rajamouli's work in general and 'Magadheera' in particular. He said he took inspiration from this movie.

"In a given show there might be homages to Buster Keaton and to an Indian filmmaker named S. S. Rajamouli, who has made some of my favorite films of the last decade. I particularly recommend a movie called Magadheera," he said in an interview to Esquire magazine.

Reading this, Rajamouli thanked Matt Groening said he's elated knowing that the creator knows his work.
