SPI Cinemas to build multiplexes in Andhra Pradesh

SPI Cinemas, Chennai's leading multiplex chain operator, will be investing Rs 500 Cr to build 4 Imax theatres and multiplex complexes in Vijayawada, Vizag, Guntur and Tirupathi cities in Andhra Pradesh.

SPI runs Sathyam, Escape and other large multiplex complexes in Chennai and other cities in South India. The group is renowned for running great theatres and multiplexes.

This will give great impetus to the growth in Andhra Pradesh in theatre exhibition sector. The team from SPI Cinemas group today met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and updated him the progress on this front.
